Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Hong Kong runs two, four-week internship schemes every year in the summer and one, four-week internship scheme in winter. The recruitment process for the internship scheme is exactly the same as the process for a training contract. You therefore don’t need to apply for a training contract if you have applied for an internship.
The application process starts with completing an online application form which involves writing 850 words that give us a good idea of who you are and submitting your CV and transcripts.
2016 summer internship scheme applications will take place from October 2015 to January 2016 while 2016 winter internship scheme applications will take place from February to April 2016. Freshfields will contact you if it likes what it reads in your application form. You will be asked to complete an online verbal reasoning test, numerical reasoning test and abstract/logical test in advance of attending an interview either at the Freshfields’ Hong Kong office or via video conferencing facilities.
The firm will contact you within a few weeks after your interview to let you know if you have been successful.
